Loving My Mini-Brewer!

by | Jan 8, 2010 | just for fun

Tina, my BFF :-), gave me such a wonderful gift for my birthday! A Keurig Mini-Brewer! I have used a Keurig brewer before, and I thought they were pretty cool, but I certainly never thought I would own one! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

If you know me at all, you know I enjoy my coffee, especially in the morning! I love waking up to a fresh-brewed cup of coffee! 🙂 I had a tough time deciding where to put my Brewer at first. I wanted to keep my Mr. Coffee coffee pot upstairs in our kitchen for times when we need more than just one cup of coffee, so the kitchen wasn’t an option since I didn’t want two coffee makers on my counter. It was suggested to put it in my office, so I then thought about putting it on the counter in the walk-in closet in my office, but I use that counter for wrapping products and gifts, and for keeping my wrapping supplies organized. So, I finally decided to put it on the counter in an area off of our family room downstairs, where we have a microwave and a mini-refrigerator. Perfect!

But then I needed something to hold all of my little coffee brewing cups…Bill and I made a trip a week ago Sunday to the local outlet mall where they had everything I needed (wanted), and some great varieties of coffee! I was good to go! 🙂

When my alarm goes off in the morning, I come downstairs and the first thing I do is start my Brewer. I choose which coffee I feel like for the day…bold, dark, medium, or light roast, flavored or not flavored, or maybe I would like tea or hot cocoa. I put the coffee brewing cup in my Brewer, fill the water reservoir with water, set my coffee cup under the brewing spout, and in just a couple of minutes, I have freshly-brewed coffee, tea or hot cocoa in my cup. I love it!

I have been surprised to find that I am drinking less coffee my using my Brewer (I thought I would be drinking more), and am wasting much less coffee too, but not having to dump out left-over coffee in my coffee pot!

What a great gift we all can enjoy! Bill has tried a few cups of coffee and hot cocoa, and the kids have enjoyed the hot cocoa…I enjoy making a cup for Ali and Zach while they are getting ready for school in the mornings!

Thanks, Tina, for choosing such a wondeful gift for me! I think of you each and every time I brew another cup…time for a second one this morning! 🙂
