This Week’s Family Memories

by | Mar 10, 2012 | family, God's blessings, memories, schedule

Ali arrived home Monday night from Disney World.  She had a great time on her trip, and it was nice to see her beautiful face again in person! 🙂  She came home bearing gifts for us, and for herself.  It was a trip of a lifetime for her.

Zach had mid-term conferences on Tuesday.  He’s doing well in 9th grade…all A’s, B’s and one C.  It was so nice to hear the positive comments about him from his teachers!  It’s hard to believe he’ll be a Sophomore next year!

It was a full week at Mission of Hope, preparing for me to be on vacation this coming week.  Each day there was a blessing and gift to me.

Bill was recognized at work on Thursday for going “above and beyond” in his job in a critical situation a week or so ago.  He handled the situation perfect and received a reward for it!  I am so proud of him!

Bill also hit a monumental goal on Thursday in his new healthy living lifestyle since the first of the year.  He’s down 50 pounds!!  He has one proud wife!

Thursday evening our family had some great conversations which encouraged each of us.  God is moving in our family, and especially in our children.  Ali is considering a different journey for her future after high school.  I’m excited to see what God will do through her.  It will be an evening I will remember for a very long time!

Ali was asked to Prom yesterday out of the blue by someone she didn’t expect!

Bill and I went a date last evening.  Our time together was wonderful!

And today, our Spring Break officially begins!  I’m looking forward to some dedicated relaxing time and spending time with family and friends!

I’m thanking God this morning for a great, uplifting week!
