Almost sixteen years ago I decided I wanted to stay home with our new baby girl and work from home. I began a business with Mary Kay. I am thanking God for my Mary Kay business today!
Over the years, my business has provided me with the freedom and flexibility to work when I wanted to, and to work around the kids’ and Bill’s schedules. It has given me the opportunity to make what I’m worth, and to provide a great income for our family. It has given me the privilege to meet many people I would not have otherwise met, and to grow great Christian friendships. It has encouraed me to grow my faith in God, to put Him first, my family second and my career third.
It has taught me so many things and many lessons…how to treat others with respect and kindness, how to communicate with others, how to work with difficult people, how to encourage others, how to run a business, how to wear makeup :-)!, how to teach others, what to do and what not to do in customer service, how to lead women, how believe in yourself…so many more things…more than I ever dreamed of!
I am thankful for my loyal customers…some have been with me since the beginning, and some are brand new. I appreciate them so very, very much!
I thank God today for the provision of my business all these years, and I’m excited to see where we will go with it from here! š
