Friends, I have one question for today…How can it be August 1st??
Ok, I have another…Where did July go?
I am amazed how fast this summer is flying by me. Don’t get me wrong, we’ve had a great summer so far. We celebrated Ali’s graduation. We celebrated Bill’s birthday, and nieces’ and nephews’ birthdays. We’ve gone to two concerts. We’ve traveled to St. Louis, Chicago, Lake Geneva. We’ve done some major improvements to our home. We’ve spent much fun time together as a family. Bill and I have had great date nights, and some wonderful times as a couple. I’ve watched Bill take charge of his health and have watched him drop over 100 pounds since January. (That’s been amazing!) Zach has had soccer camps and a show choir camp. School registration was today (ok, that’s not so fun). We’ve experienced many of God’s blessings throughout this summer!
And we still have lots of summer left…our huge family reunion is coming up (happens every three years), our 20th wedding anniversary is next week (I can’t wait for our weekend away to celebrate!!), my class reunion is this month, and we plan to squeeze as much fun out of each day before school starts! š
Gosh, I have so much to be thankful for as I think about our family’s summer! God has truly blessed us! Even though it’s already August, I trust this month will be just as special and memory-filled as June and July was. I’ll be looking forward to putting together our summer family photo book on shutterfly.com when summer is ending and I’ll be reliving our summer all over again each time I view it!
