99. Heartbreak Is Not The End Of Your Story With Jodi Rosser

by | Jun 27, 2023 | Podcast

You are in for a treat today! Once a month I host a guest on the podcast, and I am thrilled to share with you the hope-giving conversation I had with someone who’s a lovely friend, a beautiful soul, a vibrant human being, a fellow writer, podcaster, and speaker, whose story encourages and inspires many, including me. This amazing woman is none other than the wonderful Jodi Rosser. If you don’t know Jodi, you soon will through this episode, and I think you’ll find encouragement and hope as she shares some of her story. Heartbreak is not the end of your story, friend. And just for fun, I’m giving away a signed copy of Jodi’s book, Depth: Growing Through Heartbreak to Strength, so be sure to register to win at the link in the show notes.

Heartbreak Is Not the End of Your Story With Jodi Rosser | Depth Book

Heartbreak is not the end of your story.

It’s not. It may feel like it is right now, but it’s not.

If you’re experiencing heartbreak of any kind, this episode is especially for you. But the thing is, because we live in a broken world, we each experience brokenness and heartache in it. Unfortunately, it’s something we each have in common. We each are familiar with heartbreak, right? Whether that’s from a broken relationship, broken dreams, or broken promises. Or any of these or none of these! God, however, specializes in brokenness and heartbreak. Because He never leaves us in it, but He gives us His strength and to be what Jodi calls a “hopelifter” to others. Jodi is a living example of this. God has used her heartbreak to help others in their own heartbreaks.

God is in the process of redeeming your story right now.

You just may not be able to see it yet.

Click on the player above to listen to the 38-minute episode. (My guest episodes are longer than my solo ones.)

How has this conversation encouraged your heart today? How is Jodi’s story inspiring you and giving you hope for your future and in your current circumstances? Jodi’s story reminds us that heartbreak isn’t the end of our stories when God’s involved. He uses our heartbreaks for our growth, for the good of others, and for His glory. Just like He did–and is doing–in Jodi’s story, and just like He does in ours. Take courage today, friend. If you’re experiencing heartbreak in this season, or know someone who is (share this with him/her), please know God is with you, and remember heartbreak is not the end of your story. Amen? Amen. Thank you for being here today. I’m cheering you on! God bless you.
