A few years ago, and I can’t remember from where, but I learned the art of at the end of each day, writing down in a journal all the things I thank God for and writing what He did in my life that day. I used to think “I” did those things, until one day God revealed to me that it was “Him” that was doing those things, and that it really had nothing to do with any sort of talent, experience, expertise, etc. that I had. Afterall, He’s the one who gave me any sort of talent, experience, etc. anyway!
“For everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by His power, and everything is for His glory.” Romans 11:36
“…Everything got started in Him and finds its purpose in Him.” Colossians 1:16B
“I am your Creator. You were in my care even before you were born.” Isaiah 44:2
I thought it would be only fitting for me to share at the bottom of this blog what I saw God doing in my life each day. If you haven’t started such a journal, I would suggest doing so. It really is a record of all the ways you’ve seen God work on your behalf, and it shows you truly how much He loves you! It’s just another way to live a life that honors Him. You’ll be blessed by it!
