Sleeping In

If you’ve read my posts in the past, you already know one thing about me…I am an early riser and I enjoy it.  I love getting up early, having my quiet time and having my coffee.  It’s my favorite part of my day.
But the last two days, I have slept in…not because I really chose to, but because I think my body needed it.  Getting 9-10 hours of sleep a night is not normal for me…usually 5-6 hours is.  And since turning the clocks back Saturday night, I’ve found myself even more tired.  Yesterday I was upset with myself for not being able to get up, but today when I couldn’t, I accepted the fact that maybe I just needed a little more sleep. 🙂

I gave myself permission to sleep in and take care of myself. 

My family has slept in too.  So even though our days aren’t getting started quite as early as I’d normally like, we are enjoying time spent together…ALL DAY! 🙂  I can’t remember when the last time was that we’ve spent all day, for consecutive days, together!  We need to do this more often! 🙂

I love spring break and have enjoyed sleeping in! 🙂
