As I have mentioned in past posts, I feel so much better than I have for quite awhile. I really didn’t realize how bad I felt until Sunday, when I began feeling good again. It feels wonderful to have energy again!
The beginning of November I came down with a cold. It turned into bronchitis. Bronchitis caused me some terrible coughing, which in doing so, I cracked a rib on my right side. Taking antibiotics caused my stomach to feel terribly upset. Last week was the worst…I couldn’t hardly eat anything except bananas and chicken noodle soup. I finished my antibiotics on Wednesday, and it took until Sunday (and a whole lot of probiotics) for my stomach to begin to feel normal again. I’m so thankful that is over!
So many people were praying for me. I am so grateful. I know without a doubt with how awful I felt during the week (and the worst on Saturday) and almost overnight I felt like a new person, that God healed me with His mighty hand! I’m truly thankful!
The positive side of all of this is that I appreciate even more now when I feel well. I took that so for granted. I also lost about eight pounds. When I put on my jeans this morning, I couldn’t believe how different they felt! I needed to use a belt to keep them up! I’m quite excited about that, especially just before the holidays! (I fully know there’s healthier ways to lose weight, but I’m okay with this.)
There is so much sickness out there today. I want to do all I can to stay healthy. To eat right. To exercise. To make sure I get enough rest CONSISTENTLY. That’s certainly an area I certainly struggle with. To take my vitamins and to drink plenty of water.
And above all to pray that God protects my and my family’s health!!
Regarding my rib…it’s not healed yet. I still feel it each time I take a deep breath, when I lay on that side and when I do anything somewhat strenuous. But it’s better than it was! Thank God for that!
I pray you are healthy tonight! Do what you can to stay that way! 🙂
God bless you!
