Five Minute Friday – Tell

by | Aug 15, 2014 | Five Minute Friday

Here we are! It’s Five Minute Friday where we write unedited, uninhibited, unhindered for five minutes. We let our creative minds go out and play. We link up with Kate Motaung to share our five minutes of writing. It’s one of my favorite parts of my week, and I’d love it if you’d join us. If you don’t have a blog, feel free to use the comment section below! You’d bless me.

This week’s prompt:

–Tell–

Go.

Please allow me to tell you something, friend.

To tell it like it is, the truth and nothing but the truth.

No hiding. No falseness. Nothing fake.

Real. Transparent. Authentic.

flowers 14 (2) editedWhat I want to somehow convey to you is how very special and incredible you are.

You are beautifully amazing. You may not feel like it, but you are. You may be buried under a pile of laundry, overwhelmed with a hectic back-to-school schedule, or trying to figure out what you “want to be when you grow up,” when you’re already grown up.

You’ve got what it takes. Even if you don’t think you do. You may be seeing more month than money, watching your kids make some not-so-great choices, or hearing a tough report. But you’ve got this.

You are gifted, talented and special. Don’t let anyone, or even yourself, tell you differently. God wired you in a way unlike anyone else. No one can do what you can do.

You are loved. You are cherished. You are awesome. The One who created you thinks so, and I do too!

coffee 03 editedIf I was having coffee with you this morning, I’d be tell you these very things. I’d look into your eyes and tell you how beautifully amazing you are. The truth and nothing but the truth.

Please accept this truth for your life today.

Is there someone in your life who needs to hear similar words? If so, would you tell them or point them to these words?

sunrise 6 editedGo tell someone else how beautifully amazing they are today.

Stop.

Truly, from the bottom of my heart, I mean these words above. I may not know you personally, but that’s okay. I know the One who created you, and He creates nothing but greatness. He creates masterpieces. He creates beauty. So I know He created you as great, a masterpiece and beautiful. Stand straight, head held high today, knowing how beautifully amazing you are. Beautifully amazing. That’s you, friend.

Hugs,
Julie

We were of the same mind today! But it’s a message that NEEDS to be told, again and again!

Beautiful, inspiring words. And so full of kindness and love and humanity. We should all be more intentional about this with everyone we see – you never know what a difference your making in someone’s life. We need to tell ourselves as well – to remember that we were made in His image. Another great post!

Hi Lisa! Thank you for your encouragement and for visiting! So many times I think things I should say to others, but for some reason they aren’t spoken. Trying to get better at that. Yes, what a difference in makes when we live as being made in His image! Have a great weekend, friend!
