198. Beyond Your Bloom: Living a Fruitful Life for God

by | May 20, 2025 | Podcast

We continue today in our series, Bloom Where You’re Planted. So far this month we’ve looked at Before You Bloom and While You Bloom–how God is always working, even when we don’t see it. Today, we’re stepping into what happens beyond your bloom—how your growth impacts others and glorifies God long after the first signs of blooming. Your bloom isn’t the end of the story. God’s work in you is beautiful, yes—but what He wants to do through you is even greater.
So, if you’ve ever wondered, ‘Does any of this really matter?’ or ‘Is God really using me?’—today’s episode is for you.

Beyond Your Bloom: Living a Fruitful Life for God

It’s easy to forget that blooming isn’t just about us. At least is is for me. The thing is, our lives, our stories, our blooms—are a testimony to God’s goodness. Our growth invites others to experience Him too. And when you and I grow in God’s goodness, we naturally shine for Him.

You are like that illuminating light. Let your light shine everywhere you go, that you may illumine creation, so men and women everywhere may see your good actions, may see creation at its fullest, may see your devotion to Me, and may turn and praise your Father in heaven because of it” (Matthew 5:16 Voice).

I share in this episode about a recent experience regarding a reader of my book, Right Now Matters, and how God was glorified in that moment as the blooming that took place in me through that book affected the life of another.

God never wastes a bloom. He always has someone in mind beyond us.

I also share three ways our blooms impact others.

Live beyond your bloom, friend.

Our growth isn’t always just about us. Remember: God doesn’t just want to bloom something beautiful in you—He wants to bloom something beautiful through you.

I invite you back next week for more encouragement and hope with our guest episode for the month. It’s a powerful one with someone who has greatly impacted my life. Until then, stay encouraged. God bless you!
