A Day In My Chair

by | Feb 3, 2012 | just for fun, me, sermons

I haven’t moved much from my chair today.  I worked from home, writing Sunday’s church message.  I only got up to make my lunch (at 2pm), to make a couple cups of tea (yes, I think I’m becoming a tea girl), and to visit the bathroom.  Oh, I threw in a load of laundry too on one of those trips. 🙂

My rear-end is numb…I don’t remember how I used to do this all day long…sitting, that is!  The only time I get to sit down much at the Mission during the day is during lunch…when I sit down to eat.  Other than that, I’m usually up and moving.

It was a good day, however.  I’m talking on Sunday about when we know Jesus, we know His peace.  I’m using Ali’s car accident as an example of that.  It’s hard to believe, by the way, that it’ll be two months to the day on Sunday!  Reliving all of that today as I wrote it out, I’m still so thankful for God sparing her life that morning!

Bill and I are heading out on a date tonight, so I better get this numb rear-end in gear!  I’m still in my pajamas and haven’t showered (you can picture how attractive this sight is)!  I hope it’s been a good Friday for you!  The weekend is here!  Enjoy!!
