A Healthier You

by | Jan 9, 2015 | Love God, personal journey

I have the honor of guest posting today at my friend, Betsy’s blog, Faith Spilling Over.

I love Betsy’s heart. She’s passionate about Jesus, and does a beautiful job of loving and caring for her family and others. She’s a gifted writer, and a lovely encourager. The interesting thing is I’ve never met Betsy in person, but only through our common love of writing. She lives half-way around the world from me, yet I feel like we’re only miles away. I love connections like these, made possible only through faith in Jesus.

I thank Betsy for allowing me to share at her blog home today.

A Healthier You

I had set some new “becoming healthy” goals of exercising and eating healthy. It was a recipe for success.

Or so I thought. Within six months, I took my 5′ 9″ body from a size 10 to a size 4. My body fat percentage dropped dramatically. Becoming healthy consumed me, and became an unhealthy addiction.

My “recipe for success” developed into method for destruction.  (To read entire post, click here.)
