I’m seeing this morning that I am WAY behind in my “Experiencing Summer 2013” posts. My last one was on July 5. I have lived much of life and created many memories since then, in the last 22 days. It has been one wonderful summer so far! I’ll do my best to catch up this weekend, and probably more for my sake than anyone else’s. 🙂
July 6 was Praise in the Park at Vet’s Memorial Stadium with Big Daddy Weave and Jeremy Camp. A beautiful night with family and friends!
Monday, July 8 I took my three nieces who are sisters out for their birthdays. We had a great day together with lunch at Carlos O’Kellys, shopping at Target and a trip to Orange Leaf for dessert! Angie, Megan and Sarah are such special girls and I’d love to spend more time with them!
On Saturday, July 13 Bill and I rode the tandem to Amana. A full bike ride had ended that day at Millstream Brewery, so we thought we’d just bike there to hear the music and see the sights. It was a fun time together! I am really enjoying the miles we are putting on that bike together! In Amana I ran into my childhood friend, Jean. We found out that afternoon that we both bike and will plan on going for a ride sometime soon together!
And I certainly wouldn’t want to miss sharing a few of the beautiful scenes I captured around our home during that week…
The drops of dew on the blades of grass a morning walk…
Looking down our road on one of my walks…
A beautiful sunset with my brother’s house in the distance…
Thank you for journeying with me through the summer of 2013!
