I knew when I woke up yesterday morning that it was going to be a packed day. I always try to make the most of each day, and somedays are just packed full…like yesterday! I thought I’d jot down everything I did yesterday as a post…looking over it now, it gives me a slight headache. My mom was a wise woman. She would say to me every now and then, “Julie Ann, you are burning the candle at both ends!” If she would have been here yesterday, I’m sure she would have said the same thing. 🙂
Here are just the highlights from yesterday:
4:45 am: Alarm went off, I woke up to the smell of coffee brewing!
5:00 am: Enjoyed my coffee in my quiet office.
6:00 am: Showered, used my 19 different products to get my game face ready! 🙂
6:30 am: Woke up Ali
6:45 am: Woke up Zach
6:50 am: Had breakfast, finished my hair, did laundry, saw beautiful sunrise!
7:50 am: Loaded the car, left for school, did spelling, prayed on way to school
8:12 am: Dropped Ali off at High School
8:16 am: Dropped Zach off at Middle School
8:20 am: Returned phone calls while driving 🙂 (Probably not the smartest thing to do.)
9:05 am: Arrived at church for Bible Study Fellowship
11:25 am: Left Bible Study Fellowship, headed to Tina’s
11:35 am: Got phone call from Tina telling me not to come over…she wasn’t feeling well and Grace was home sick.
11:40 am: Ran through Sonic drive-thru and enjoyed my favorite grilled chicken wrap!
12:18 pm: Arrived home to work in office, had another cup of coffee 🙂
12:30ish pm: Caught up with Tina on phone.
1:00ish pm: Printed off postcards for clients with February special, set some new appointments, worked in office
1:30ish pm: Neighbor stopped by, did another load of laundry

1:50 pm: Great phone call with my Pastor
2:40 pm: Left for school to pick up Ali & Zach
3:00 pm: Arrived at High School
3:05 pm: Arrived at Middle School
3:45 pm: Ali’s orthodontist appointment
4:05 pm: Stopped at post office to mail postcards
4:30 pm: Arrived home
4:45ish pm: Time with family, dinner together, baked cookies, saw amazing sunset 🙂
6:00 pm: Left for Mission Board Meeting
6:30 pm: Arrived at Mission of Hope for meeting
8:40 pm: Left Mission
9:00 pm: Arrived at High School to pick up Ali
9:17 pm: Left High School for home
9:40 pm: Arrived home, time with Bill
10:15 pm: Got ready for bed, did another load of laundry
10:40 pm: Climbed into bed, turned out the lights!
When my alarm went off at 4:45 this morning, I was wide awake, ready to tackle another day…with a little less on my plate! 🙂
