We had another volleyball tournament yesterday…this one was an hour and 40 minutes away. It was a long day with the first game beginning at 8:30 AM. We didn’t get home until after 10:30 PM! Ali was exhausted! She should have been for the way she played yesterday! She was setting, she was hitting, she was diving for balls, and in all eleven games, she NEVER missed a serve! She gave 100% yesterday in every game. I am so COMPLETELY PROUD of her!
Bill’s sister, Nancy, her husband, John and son, Paul, stopped by to watch Ali play a game. Their daughter, Sara, was in an All-State Speech contest in the same city. It was wonderful to see them! I was able to get a picture of us together. (You can tell Nancy and Bill are related…they both have their eyes closed in the picture.) š
Ali’s friend, Callie, as you can see in the picture, was so tired she fell asleep on the gym floor between games!
It was a great and fun day!
