When Living A Real Life Is Not Easy

by | Oct 9, 2017 | 31 Days Of Living A Real Life

Life isn’t always a piece of cake. Some days it can be down-right difficult.

And sometimes, living a real life is even harder.

There’s pressures and stress. Bad news and hard times. Heartaches and headaches.

In one moment life is cruising along, and in the next, it comes to a screeching halt. And, there’s nothing we can do but hang on for dear life. Some of us are hanging by a thread, praying the thread holds.

It’s possible right this very minute you’re walking through real life that is real hard, and you’d give about anything to go back to simpler days. Friend, if that’s the case, I wish I could make it all better. I wish I could wave a magic want or something and make it all go away. Oh, how I wish.

When living a real life is not easy.

But, I don’t have that kind of power. There’s one thing I can do, however. I can pray.

When living a real life is not easy, we have the power of prayer.

We can go to God in any given moment and give what we’re going through over to Him. We can ask others to pray for us, and we can pray for others in their need.

God knows what we need even before we ask. And, when we ask, He is faithful to answer.

Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Psalm 36:5 NLT

When living a real life is not easy, we don’t need to go it alone.

God can handle all that we walk through. We can chose to walk through it alone, or we can choose to walk with Him. There’s a powerful reassurance and strength that comes when we know we’re held in the hands of Almighty God.

Do not be afraid—I am with you! I am your God—let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you; I will protect you and save you. Isaiah 41:10 GNT

When living a real life is not easy, we can trust God to guide us.

When we understand we’re not alone, we can rest in trusting God will get us through. One of my favorite Bible verses is the one I cling to when I life get’s exceptionally tough…

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG

Friend, I may not know what you’re walking through in your real life, but God certainly does. Pray, walk with Him, and trust Him to guide you. He’ll get you to safety. Please know I’m praying for you today and trusting Him right along with you.

Much love,

Julie

Perfect for me! Life continues to be overwhelming difficult for my son and daughter in law. It will go on for awhile. I remember a long time ago when I prayed for him 2 hrs a day and released him to a Father that knows him better than I. God is it!!! Miraculous change beyond my wildest imagination.

    I praying this happens again.

Teresa, I’m praying right along with you. What amazing things can happen when we release our loved ones to our Father. What an example you are to many, including me. Thank you!

I love the Message translation. And Prayer is such a gift. I’m thankful for those who pray for me and the ways I’ve been blessed by praying for others.
