We had a wonderful and full weekend! I’m thankful that God has allowed me to have the full life I do. I was honestly feeling overwhelmed last week with all that transpired, but after an attitude-adjusting weekend, some friends’ encouraging words, and after our BSF meeting this morning, I’m grateful and thankful instead of feeling overwhelmed.
Friday was a fun day/night away with my friends Carolyn and Jeanie. We enjoyed our lunch at the Rose Cottage Tea Room, did a little shopping, had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and enjoyed spending time together unwinding and reconnecting with each other. 🙂 It was exactly what I needed!
We pulled into the garage at 8:30 last night. Whew! What a full weekend! 🙂 Another blessing that happened yesterday was that Bill surprised us and came to Ali’s games in the morning. He had to work all weekend, so he wasn’t able to spend the rest of the weekend with us, but it was such a nice surprise to have him show up announced! 🙂
I’m thankful tonight for the many blessings we experienced over the weekend, after such a trying and stressful week. I consider our weekend a gift!
