Love Note To My Lefe’s – December 2014

by | Jan 1, 2015 | This Lefe Family

To the fabulous three I am blessed to be mom and wife to:

Thank you for a wonderful 2014!

As we look back over last year, we have much to be thankful for, don’t we??!! We can see how God blessed us, protected us, provided for us, healed us, equipped us, and filled us with His love, peace and joy.

As with life, our year was a mixture of “good” and “not-so-good.” But we know, nothing happens in our lives that isn’t sifted through God’s hands first.

There were times of questions, and concerns, and situations we didn’t understand. Times also of disappointment, misunderstandings, and discouragement. Yet, we also experienced priceless times of great fun, laughter, excitement, and pure joy. I think of our vacation to Pensacola Beach in June, and the memories we made there bring a smile to my face. šŸ™‚

Through it all, we were together. I’m incredibly grateful.

December 2014 CollageAs I look back at December, the month sped quickly by. Thank you each for making the entire month, Christmas, and my birthday so special!

Bill, you bless me daily. Thank you for loving me, for believing in me, for encouraging me, and for standing by me. I look forward to a wonderful 2015 with you as we transition into an “empty nest” of sorts. I’m so glad I get to walk through life with you!

Alissa, I’m so proud of you! God has you right where He wants you to be. Keep trusting Him, keep your eyes on Him. His plans for your life are perfect, even if we may not understand them. Keep working for your dreams, as you make a positive impact in the world. I love you, and believe in you, more than you know! You make me proud to be your momma, your cheerleader, your friend!Ā

Zach (a.k.a. Peter), you had an exciting December with the debut of show choir, and semester finals. I am so proud of you for giving your all in everything you do. Continue to make positive choices that will serve you well in your future. 2015 is going to be an exciting year for you in so many ways. God has big plans for your life. Keep seeking Him! I love you more than you know, Mister! Ā

As we look ahead to 2015, may we keep God in the center of our family. With Him there, no matter what comes our way, we’ll be more than okay. We’ll be able to weather the storms and rejoice in the blessings.

Happy New Year!

All my love,

Julie & Mom
