I’m Back!!!

by | Sep 11, 2012 | fall, family, me, vacation

It’s been almost a week since I’ve posted anything on my blog…

I was on vacation for a week in Florida!

It was a time of refreshment, rejuvenation, reflection, and a whole lot of fun! It was just what I needed! I’ll share more in a post later this week–yes, with pictures of course!

I returned last night to my family, and I feel like I’ve been on the go ever since.

Bible Study Fellowship started today for the year. We had our first Leaders’ Meeting this morning, bright and early at 9am! (Believe it or not, there were some days last week I was just rolling out of bed at 9am! For those who know me, you know that’s not like me…but I actually loved it!) It was great to see my BSF friends again…first time since May. I felt great to be in that circle again…there’s nothing like it.

My second and third full-time jobs (Mary Kay and soccer manager) have taken the majority of my time this afternoon. 🙂 I’m so thankful for my business, and thankful we were able to register our team for our third tournament this fall and get all financial details squared away. 🙂

Ali and I took a wonderful long walk this afternoon, was able to “tour” my brother and sister-in-law’s new home that’s in the building stages, and began to get caught up on some laundry. I certainly could use another day off tomorrow!

I look forward to getting back into our family routine, but I plan to make some changes to it after having some time away. I look forward to a new “normal.”

I look forward to sharing more about my trip soon! Until then, I pray you’ve had a great week too!

Blessings!
Julie
