Have you ever ended the day wondering, “Where did my time go?” In this week’s episode, we’re getting practical and talking about how to take back your attention—because attention is one of the most valuable things we have. Where we give it ultimately shapes the lives we live.

I share a personal story of how distraction recently stole an hour of my day and left me exhausted. Even with the best intentions, our attention can be pulled in a dozen different directions if we’re not careful. From a biblical perspective, attention is about stewardship. It’s managing well what God has entrusted to us, including our time and focus (Psalm 90:12).
It’s time to take back your attention!
Together, we explore the Big Five Distractions from my book Right Now Matters and learn practical resets for each:
- The Past – Surrender yesterday to live fully today.
- The Future – Trust God with what’s ahead and focus on now.
- Technology – Set boundaries around devices to reclaim moments.
- Our Thoughts – Quiet mental noise with intentional lists and pauses.
- Multitasking – Do one thing at a time to regain clarity and energy.
Identify which of the Big Five steals our attention most and to take one simple step this week. Asking God to help set a boundary and refocus on what matters.
