I spent the entire weekend with my best friend Tina. We have made a commitment to each other to get away for a girlfriend weekend every few months. The last time we went away was the first weekend in June, so we were beyond due to go again. We had a wonderful time sharing, catching up, laughing, encouraging each other, growing in the Lord together, eating, shopping and just hanging out as friends. It was much needed on both of our parts! I can’t imagine my life without Tina. God has continued to mesh our lives together since way back when in 5th and 6th grade. He has bonded our friendship in Him, so it’s a comfort to know that our friendship with continue to grow and thrive and we will only become closer to each other and to Him through our friendship!
I thank God for my BFF Tina today and everyday! Tina named our friendship this weekend…Team Lefering! I love it! I’d say our team had a HUGE victory this weekend! Thanks so much Tina. I love you!!! 🙂
