Club Soccer Season…a Rainy Start

by | Aug 27, 2012 | family

Today was our first club soccer game of this year’s season…and a wet one at that!! It rained from the time we arrived, until the time we left…six hours later.

Our team played very well together for their first time out. It was a 6v6 tournament. They played three games…won 1, lost 1, tied 1. I tried to take a few pictures from my phone, as I was holding the umbrella and the player cards all at the same time. I didn’t want to chance getting my camera wet, so the pictures below are as good as they got for today. 🙂 You can see how wet everything was…and even how the rain was pouring down on us!

I was thankful for my big umbrella and my Under Armour clothes I was wearing…they didn’t absorb the rain as much and they dried quickly!

We ended the day by stopping at Panchero’s on the way hope with our coach and a couple other players. Let’s hope the rest of the season isn’t so wet!

Great job guys!!
