264. Live Your Life: Come, Follow, Remain

by | Aug 18, 2026 | Podcast

Have you ever felt like life is passing you by, even though you’re doing all the “right” things?

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been talking about not missing the life God has given us. We’ve noticed where we might be missing it and considered what may be pulling us away. But that leads to the natural next question: Now what?

Our tendency may be to try harder. Clear the calendar. Spend less time on our phones. Say “no” more often. Slow down.

Those things may help, but they don’t get to the heart of the issue.

In this episode, Julie shares the one thing she believes is essential to living an undistracted, abundant life: partnering with God. And she turns to three simple, life-giving invitations from Jesus that show us how to:

Come, Follow, Remain.

Come to Me.
When we’re weary, stretched thin, and carrying too much, Jesus invites us to come to Him.

Follow Me.
Instead of trying to determine the direction of our lives on our own, Jesus invites us to follow Him and learn His way of living.

Remain in Me.
Peace doesn’t come from an empty calendar, getting everything done, or finally feeling caught up. It comes from staying connected to Jesus throughout our ordinary days.

Julie shares practical ways to live these invitations—from beginning the day with Jesus, to returning to Him when your heart wanders, to ending the day noticing where He was present.

The answer is becoming more present with Jesus.

Julie also shares an invitation to Abundant Life Together, her monthly mentoring community beginning in September. Enrollment is open now through August 31.

Come. Follow. Remain. And discover how staying close to Jesus can help you become more present to the life He has already given you.
