I spent a period of my life serving God at a local mission where the formerly incarcerated and others in need would visit for help and support, and could find a safe place to get back on one's feet. God taught me much through my experience there. Much about humanity....

It happened in gym class and at recess. Maybe it was dodge ball or volleyball, or some other sport that needed two teams. As always, teams were picked in a way I disliked. Two people were named as team captains and the rest of us were in a pool of prospective players....
