Living A Real Life In A Fake World
Fake news and fraud appear to be everywhere these days. Not only are the headlines brimming with of them, but our hearts are on guard as a result. We don’t know what and who to trust anymore. Please don’t tell me gone are the days of “honesty is the best policy.”
Photos are retouched. Stories are revised. Products are reworked. Is there anything real or genuine anymore? We begin to wonder and question what’s valid and what’s not. Can’t we just be real?

It’s not easy living a real life in a fake world.
No, it’s most certainly not. Are you as tired of the fake as I am?
We don’t have to look too far in this world before we see it’s far from real. Somehow it has gotten way off-track. Sure, we may each have our own ideas of the cause, but instead of fixating on that, let’s ask ourselves, how do we fix it? Can we fix it? By ourselves we may not be able to change it completely, but together we can certainly make a difference. We can certainly be the change we want to see.

3 Ways to Live a Real Life in a Fake World
1 – Instead of trying to fit in, be yourself.
You weren’t created to blend in, but to stand out. The light that’s within you is meant to shine bright into the lives of others and into this world. Be you… the most incredible you.
2 – Instead of sinking in what’s fake, stand for truth.
What’s fake smothers us, but what’s true empowers us. When we stand for truth, real freedom follows.
“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32 CEV
3 – Instead of living for this world, thrive for the next.
It’s good to be reminded this world is not our home.
For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come. Hebrews 13:14 NLT
Our home is in heaven. May we be about living real in this world to thrive in the next. That’s the one that’s truly real. That’s the one that matters most, because that’s where we’ll reside forever.
