God Sees You And He Cares

by | Sep 28, 2014 | Sunday Truth

Is there something hard you are facing today?

Or in the life of someone close to you?

The truth is… Someone sees, hears, and cares about you, and about what you’re going through.

She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” Genesis 16:13

God who sees me

That Someone is God, Himself.

I’m studying the Life of Moses this year in Bible Study Fellowship. We’re into the third lesson, and even though this is my third time through this particular study, I am learning so much as God is speaking clearly to me through His Word.

(By the way, if you’re looking for an in-depth, applicable-to-real-life Bible study, check out their website for more details!)

I continue to be reminded of how God sees His people, how He hears their cries, and how He cares for His own.

The Bible is full of such examples…

God saw and met Hagar, the pregnant slave girl, as she was attempting to run from her problems and from the life she knew in Genesis 16.

God saw the misery and heard the cries of the Israelites as they were enslaved in Egypt.

The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey…” Exodus 3:7-8

Jesus saw the crowds and had compassion on them.

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36

There are so many more examples. Too numerous to mention here.

The God who saw Hagar, and the Israelites, is the same God who sees me, and you today.

He sees what you’re going through. He is concerned about you and what you’re experiencing. He loves you (after all, He formed you in your mother’s womb), and He will act on your behalf, in His time and in His way.

If there’s nothing else you take from today’s post, grab on to this: You are not alone in what you’re going through. He is with you. He sees you, and He cares.

God sees you and He cares.

Allow this truth to sink in.

God sees you and He cares.

That encourages me to my core, and I pray it encourages you as well.

If someone else needs to be reminded of this truth, won’t you share it with him or her today?

Give your situation, your cares, your hard thing to Him Who sees you. Trust He’ll handle it, in His way. Then stand back and watch Him work it out for good.

May He encourage you and bless you as you do so.

Friend, it’s going to be okay. He sees you.

Julie

Thank you, Kim! Do you have a blog? I’m not able to see it in your comment link, but would love to read it! I appreciate your words of blessing and encouragement. Have a blessed week!

Lol! No, I do not have a blog. Sharing my life and thoughts with others is a bit out of my comfort zone at this point. I am getting better at it though. I felt led to begin teaching an adult Sunday school class last year and it has forced me to be more open.

You are not the first person to ask if I have a blog. One woman in my class has suggested more than once that I seriously consider doing one. Maybe one day?

Kim, you’ll know when and if you’re “supposed” to. 🙂 How exciting about being led to teach an adult Sunday school class! God is using you! Blessings, friend!

Thanks Julie for great encouragement today. God does see and care and He is the same God that rejoices with us, love us endlessly and provides grace in moments when life tries to take over. Beautiful Sunday words and message! Have a week full of reminders that God sees and cares.
