A casual time of conversation and getting to know each other better will be filled with much hope and joy. You’ll leave encouraged and equipped\, ready to make a difference in this world. \nCome for as long as your schedule allows for coffee\, conversation\, connection and community. Feel free to purchase a beverage and/or food as well\, but it’s not required. \nAlso\, if you normally don’t like going to places or events alone\, please know many of us will be showing up by ourselves. It’s okay! You’ll feel welcomed and loved\, minus any sort of awkwardness in coming by yourself. You’ll be in good company! \nI can’t wait to have coffee and conversation with you! DESCRIPTION:Our thoughts… are they helpful or hurtful?\n\n\n\n\n\nGod gave us the amazing ability to think\, to reason\, and to ponder. He formed our brains amazingly! So much so\, our thoughts are incredibly powerful. We know our thoughts have the ability to influence our words\, our attitudes\, and our actions. But\, they also can affect health\, our outlook on life\, how we feel about ourselves and others\, and how we spend our time. Oftentimes\, however\, we don’t even think about our thoughts. (That’s a strange thought in itself.) We just think what we think\, right? So\, since our thoughts are powerful\, it stands to reason that what we think does matter. \n\n\n\nAre our thoughts helpful or hurtful? \n\n\n\nThis is the subject of our next Bring Your Own Bible and Bestie event!
