Take comfort in knowing this study is designed for all experience and Bible knowledge levels. \nThe Details:\n\nThe Right Now Matters Bible Study: A 28-Day Guided Adventure to Living as a Right Now Woman is the companion to Right Now Matters: Empowering Right-Now Women in a Culture of Distraction.\nIt’s designed to help us women live the abundant lives Jesus came to give us by overcoming the distractions that plague us in our daily lives. This study helps us go deeper with God and with ourselves. We will dig into Scripture and study God’s Word for how to live in the moment and to receive all God has for us. \nI’m offering the opportunity to walk through the study with other women who\, like you\, desire all God has for them in this life.\nI fully believe we are better together! Take comfort in knowing this study is designed for all experience and Bible knowledge levels. \nThe Details:\n\nThe Right Now Matters Bible Study: A 28-Day Guided Adventure to Living as a Right Now Woman is the companion to Right Now Matters: Empowering Right-Now Women in a Culture of Distraction.\nIt’s designed to help us women live the abundant lives Jesus came to give us by overcoming the distractions that plague us in our daily lives. This study helps us go deeper with God and with ourselves. We will dig into Scripture and study God’s Word for how to live in the moment and to receive all God has for us. \nI’m offering the opportunity to walk through the study with other women who\, like you\, desire all God has for them in this life.\nI fully believe we are better together! The experience of gathering together once a week will help us get more out of this study than if we did it alone. \nWe have two groups:\n\nThis Right Now Matters Bible Study Online Group will meet on Mondays on Zoom\, from 6-7 p.m. The In-Person Group will meet on Thursdays in Cedar Rapids\, Iowa\, from 6-7:30 p.m. Choose which group best fits your needs. We will meet for five sessions\, once each week for five weeks (1/15\, 1/22\, 1/29\, 2/5\, 2/12). During our first time together will be laying the groundwork for the study and getting to know each other. You won’t need to have anything prepared or read in advance before our first session. \nYou will want to purchase Right Now Matters and the Right Now Matters Bible Study in advance.\nCurrently you can find them both on Amazon. I will also have a supply on hand for the in-person group on our first evening together. DESCRIPTION:The Christmas season is fast approaching. With the typical holiday hustle and bustle and all things glittery and gold\, it can be easy to miss the priceless moments of the season happening right in front of us. \nBut not this year.\nThis year we’re taking a stand to stay in the moment and be present\, and we’re doing something about it–proactively! \nRight Now Matters at Christmastime is an evening for women to pause life for a couple hours and to be encouraged and equipped at the beginning of what can be known as the most stressful time of year. God has a better way for us to live in this season. It’s one of peace\, calm\, and joy\, and believe it or not\, it’s more achievable than we realize! \nChristmas time is too important to live it distracted. \nRight now matters at Christmastime.\nI wrote a book about embracing right-now moments and living in the present. It’s called Right Now Matters: Empowering Right-Now Women in a Culture of Distraction\, and we’re taking this concept a step forward as we apply it to our lives in the Christmas season. This season is one of the most special of the year\, yet this world tells us to do more\, to be more\, to decorate and bake more\, and to spend more than we need to. DESCRIPTION:This moment matters. This very one we’re living in right now. We’ve not lived it before\, nor will we be able to live it every again. It’s different than the moment before it and the one after. But so many of us are missing these everyday\, run-of-the-mill moments of life. If they aren’t memorable or monumental\, we tend to gloss over them. And many times we miss them because something distracts us from them. God doesn’t gloss over them\, nor is He ever distracted from them. He’s the Creator of our moments\, so why don’t we consider them more important than we normally do? \nGod has a better way for us to live. To embrace our moments because this moment matters. \nThis moment matters. Right here\, right now.\nI wrote a book about this subject and how distractions are running and ruling our lives. How they are taking over these priceless moments and what we can do about it. This is the subject of our next women’s event\, Real Encouragement LIVE! DESCRIPTION:Our thoughts… are they helpful or hurtful?\n\n\n\n\n\nGod gave us the amazing ability to think\, to reason\, and to ponder. He formed our brains amazingly! So much so\, our thoughts are incredibly powerful. We know our thoughts have the ability to influence our words\, our attitudes\, and our actions. But\, they also can affect health\, our outlook on life\, how we feel about ourselves and others\, and how we spend our time. Oftentimes\, however\, we don’t even think about our thoughts. (That’s a strange thought in itself.) We just think what we think\, right? So\, since our thoughts are powerful\, it stands to reason that what we think does matter. \n\n\n\nAre our thoughts helpful or hurtful? \n\n\n\nThis is the subject of our next Bring Your Own Bible and Bestie event!
