DESCRIPTION:The Christmas season is fast approaching. With the typical holiday hustle and bustle and all things glittery and gold\, it can be easy to miss the priceless moments of the season happening right in front of us. \nBut not this year.\nThis year we’re taking a stand to stay in the moment and be present\, and we’re doing something about it–proactively! \nRight Now Matters at Christmastime is an evening for women to pause life for a couple hours and to be encouraged and equipped at the beginning of what can be known as the most stressful time of year. God has a better way for us to live in this season. It’s one of peace\, calm\, and joy\, and believe it or not\, it’s more achievable than we realize! \nChristmas time is too important to live it distracted. \nRight now matters at Christmastime.\nI wrote a book about embracing right-now moments and living in the present. It’s called Right Now Matters: Empowering Right-Now Women in a Culture of Distraction\, and we’re taking this concept a step forward as we apply it to our lives in the Christmas season. This season is one of the most special of the year\, yet this world tells us to do more\, to be more\, to decorate and bake more\, and to spend more than we need to. DESCRIPTION:This moment matters. This very one we’re living in right now. We’ve not lived it before\, nor will we be able to live it every again. It’s different than the moment before it and the one after. But so many of us are missing these everyday\, run-of-the-mill moments of life. If they aren’t memorable or monumental\, we tend to gloss over them. And many times we miss them because something distracts us from them. God doesn’t gloss over them\, nor is He ever distracted from them. He’s the Creator of our moments\, so why don’t we consider them more important than we normally do? \nGod has a better way for us to live. To embrace our moments because this moment matters. \nThis moment matters. Right here\, right now.\nI wrote a book about this subject and how distractions are running and ruling our lives. How they are taking over these priceless moments and what we can do about it. This is the subject of our next women’s event\, Real Encouragement LIVE! You’ll find this uplifting evening full of hope\, inspiration\, and practical helps to live the abundant life God desires us to through each and every moment. The book is titled\, Right Now Matters: Empowering Right-Now Women in a Culture of Distraction. But it’s an abundant way to live! \nSometimes we wish we were planted elsewhere\, or we look at where someone else is planted and we desire that space instead. Sometimes we don’t feel equipped to bloom or we’re too busy looking at how others are blooming. Or sometimes we don’t feel our blooming is enough… pretty enough\, powerful enough\, or good enough.
