It sure doesn’t feel like it’s November today…it feels more like June!

It’s currently 72 degrees. I have our deck doors open and the warm air feels incredible! I find it a little funny that on this beautiful summer-type day, I read on facebook that my brother and sister-in-law are headed to their first family Christmas of the season! Being that it’s so warm, we should be putting up our Christmas lights outside! (I’m hoping my brother will help us with that this year…he’s pretty good at doing his own! Pat…hint, hint!)

Speaking of Christmas, I saw last night on a mall website that there are 46 shopping days left before Christmas (as of yesterday). I should probably get moving on that! We’ll do the majority of our shopping during our Thanksgiving weekend excursions. I really enjoy that We’ll be putting up our Christmas tree next weekend…*GASP!* Yes, before Thanksgiving. Please don’t judge me if you’re against that…I do have my reasons which I can share at another time. (I know…some think that’s a sin, but for our family, it’s what we do and it works for us.)

I sure do love November and this time of year!

Pumpkin Spice lattes…
Pumpkin Spice creamer for my coffee…
Thanksgiving and time with family…
Pumpkin pies…
Adding another blanket on our bed (will take that off today)…
The crisp fall air (not today)…
Thinking of Christmas since I enjoy it so much…
Breaking out my vests, fleece and scarves…
Making & enjoying a variety of soups for our family dinners…
Listening to Christmas music coming from our daughter’s room (that’s been happening since September!)…
Less outside commitments for our family…
It tends to helps us keep our focus where it needs to be and on really what’s important.

And what a gorgeous day/evening for the Sleep Out For The Homeless happening today at Vets Memorial Stadium! Praying for a large turnout!

I’m going to get out and enjoy this beautiful November day! I hope you do too!
Blessings!
