Who God Says You Are

by | Oct 6, 2014 | 31 Days Loving God Loving Others

As I shared in yesterday’s post, back in 1991, my perception of who God was changed in my mind and in my heart. He was no longer a God I feared, but a God I began to fall in love with.

Also, as I studied and experienced Him personally in my life, I began to believe the truths in His Word (the Bible) about how God sees me and how He feels about me.

I began to believe He loved me.

I began to believe God loved me.Do you remember when you first believed God loved you?

It’s possible you’re not there yet, and that’s alright. Hang out here through the month of October, and I pray you’ll experience this.

As I mentioned a few days ago,

God loves us all the same. He loves us all. Period.

(I’ll never get tired of writing that, saying that, or hearing that.)

How do I know this to be true??

The world, our enemy, others, and even the person looking back in the mirror may try to tell us otherwise.

After searching and studying God’s Word, I came up with a personal list of who God says we are in Him. Feel free to print this list, save it, and share it. I return to it often when I begin to question who I am.

Who God says you are… it’s quite a list, isn’t it?!

I understand you may not have taken the time to look up each verse, but is there one in this list that particularly blessed you today? The one for me was #4, I am worthy. I needed that reminder.

I pray you allow these to sink deep in your head and in your heart. I pray you can find some time to read each passage and be blessed by them.

Julie, this is so beautiful. A wonderful way to start my day. I love them all, but #12 stands out–I am secure. Knowing God is in control of every part of my life and that He will never leave me or forsake me–that is security. May the Lord bless you today and as you write these 31 days!

Because of personal struggles this one has always brought me great comfort and is actually my favorite verse… You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:13-14)
But great list all together, Julie. Thanks for taking the time to pull together and share.
    Blessings.
    xoxo
